Dashboard

The dashboard (available in VulnIT-VM only) indicates all the detected vulnerabilities and open tickets.

Inventory

The asset inventory (available in VulnIT-VM only) lists all the assets detected in your network, together with their vulnerabilities.

Test automation

Test automation (available in VulnIT-VM only) allows you to regularly refresh the asset inventory (discovery mode) and automatically detect vulnerabilities (analysis mode) using the task functionality.

Remediation follow-up (using tickets)

Remediating the vulnerabilities can be easily followed-up using tickets (available in VulnIT-VM only): For each vulnerabilty detected, you may create a ticket (or add it to an existing ticket) and follow their remediation on the dashboard (see screenshot above).

Manual scanning

You can manually inventory your IT assets (available in VulnIT-VM and VulnIT-KEY only) by providing the specific part of the network you wish to scan.

User management

2 user roles (available in VulnIT-VM only) enable to segregate the administrator (who has full access to the software) from the user (limited to only update the tickets he is responsible for).

Configuration

You can create asset groups (available in VulnIT-VM only) and also configure your network connection or customize the wordlists used for authentication testing. You can also access the software logs for auditing issues (and debugging).
