The VulnIT USB key requirements

In order to use VulnIT-KEY, you have to use a computer (either desktop or laptop) which is able to boot on a USB pendrive. You may check the documentation of your computer to check this ability.

So as to boot on a USB key (instead of your hard drive, which is usually the default setting), you may :

- either type a specific key at boot time (F8 or F12 usually), allowing you to select the USB key among other choices ;

- or configure your boot sequence (by accessing the BIOS settings typing Del, F1, F2 or F10 depending on your computer) to set the boot priority to the USB key.

If your computer cannot boot on a USB pendrive, or if you do not have access to the boot sequence, you can download this ISO image (540 KB only), burn it on a CD and insert it together with the USB key beforing powering your computer. It will then boot on the CD and pass on to the USB key.
